Christmas London Treasure Hunt

Posted by Kimberley Garner on

So every Christmas my family used to do a treasure hunt for the kids.
It was a tradition none of us could really let go.But as we grew up, the treasure hunt evolved, to become bigger, better, and one of the highlights of Christmas.
We all meet for breakfast, mince pies and a catch up before being told our teams, and given the treasure hunt.
A pretty eclectic mix of challenges, dares, collecting things and finding out historic London info, all by speeding around London.
It gets pretty competitive!
We race round town, frantically trying to understand my Dads cryptic clues whist dodging traffic and avoiding other teams, and police, wondering what we are doing parking on double yellows in fancy dress collecting feathers, or whatever is on the list.
Its really fun and can get so silly.
